And some geekery

Anyone who knows me, knows about my obsession with "Star Trek" and its blue skinned warriors, the Andorians.

This is only one of my many Andorian sketches, but it's all you get.

Pencil sketch, then worked over in Photoshop.

Alright, you get two more.

The same character, as a child:

Photomanipulation: My Heart and I Have Wings

I used public domain/stock imagery plus brushes from Smashing Magazine and Dover clip art.

Photomanipulation: Cosmopol

Photomanipulation. Photoshop CS5. This is a "concept sketch" of my imaginary city of Cosmopol; I created it using several public domain and stock photos of buildings. Can you spot any of the buildings I used?

More inspiration. Photomanipulation, Photoshop CS5. Stock and public domain photography.

This began life as a Poser render; I then did a "paint over" in Photoshop.

Myself

Myself?

introducing Keller

The character "Keller" from my "Cosmopol" universe. A down-on-his-luck computer hacker who also does odd jobs and salvaging.

Let's Coffee Up! Character Sketch

(c) 2010 Dreia Melinkoff

That's me.

Photoshop/Illustrator work: Let's Coffee Up, v 1

I drew the coffee cup one day while I was sitting in Starbuck's, killing time. The theme eventually evolved into the name of my freelance design business ("CoffeeUp Productions").
